The Chronic Rift

The Chronic Rift proudly presents "Decisions" by Michael A. Burstein.  In this half hour drama, an astronaut returns to a different Earth and yet one that is strangely familiar to him.  In order to set things on the right path, he must make the right decision or risk facing the annihilation of the human race.  Based on Burstein's Hugo nominated short story of the same title and written by Burstein himself, it is the winner of last year's audio drama competition.  Please make sure you rate the episode at the bottom of this entry and comment on it here.

Michael A. Burstein, winner of the 1997 Campbell Award for Best New Writer, has earned ten Hugo nominations and three Nebula nominations for his short fiction, collected in I Remember the Future. Burstein lives with his wife Nomi in the town of Brookline, Massachusetts, where he is an elected Town Meeting Member and Library Trustee. When not writing, he edits middle and high school Science textbooks. He has two degrees in Physics and attended the Clarion Workshop.
