When we started this, I was concerned that we might run out of steam quickly when it came to production. It was, I thought, a good idea, get the gang together and do the show from the comfort of our homes. Many podcasts start out with the best of intentions, but they sputter out quickly or fall into the abyss of occasional episodes. My own personal podcast, Anything and Everything DREWSHI, fell into that category. I managed only 22 episodes and the last bunch were spaced out over a year and a half.
But here we are at the beginning of May, eights months since the premiere of the podcast, and I've just posted episode 16 and will be posting episode 17 shortly. And I've got a busy schedule for the show planned for this summer. In two weeks time we have another review episode and then I'm doing an all music episode, featuring music from various geeky fans with musical inclinations. It's something you can take along with you to the beach. This summer will also see the premiere of Michael Burstein's winning audio drama based on his short story, a Match Game type episode, and coverage of this year's Shore Leave convention featuring a Roundtable discussion on the new Star Trek movie and the direction the franchise has taken.
I'm very excited by all this as we finish up year one and make our plans for year two. Please, take a moment to leave a comment here and let us know what you'd like to see discussed in future episodes.
